About Freeze Dry Payback

Freeze Dry Payback is an independent micro-site that helps US households answer one question honestly: does a home freeze dryer make financial sense for me?

How we work

• We use manufacturer-published specs (capacity, trays, power draw) and public data such as the U.S. Energy Information Administration's state electricity prices.
• Where real numbers vary (supplies, kWh per batch, store-bought value) we give clearly labeled estimates and let you edit them.
• We do not publish reviews, star ratings or "we tested it" claims. Our guides are research summaries, not hands-on testing.
• We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Harvest Right or Amazon.

Corrections

Prices and rates change. If you spot an outdated figure, the manufacturer's site is the source of truth — and we update our data periodically.
